HeliOffshore appoints new Regional Representatives to strengthen safety initiatives and collaboration worldwide 

HeliOffshore today (15 April 2024) announced the appointment of three new Regional Representatives to support its global membership and strengthen safety performance worldwide. 

As the global safety-focused association for the offshore helicopter industry, HeliOffshore’s membership includes over 150 organisations across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The appointment of the association’s first Regional Representatives marks a significant step in its mission to facilitate ever stronger collaboration between global stakeholders to transform frontline safety performance.  

The appointments include: 

  • North America Representative: Joe Gross, Founder of Joe Gross LLC 

  • South and Central America Representative: Shailon Ian, President of Vinci Aeronautica and CEO of Mandacaru Technologia   

  • Asia Pacific Representative: Neil Seabrook, Director, Seabrook Aviation Services

Each representative will act as a local point of contact for operators, OEMs, lessors, regulators, and all other stakeholders in the offshore community. They will facilitate tailored regional meetings in partnership with the HeliOffshore team, communicate the latest insights from its Safety Intelligence Programme, and coordinate feedback on regional issues to enhance the association’s safety initiatives and recommendations.  

A core focus area will be to support the effective implementation of operator focused Recommended Practices, and energy company customer member implementation of IOGP R690.
