News: Safran Helicopter Engines Appoints Franck Saudo As New CEO
Safran Helicopter Engines this week named Franck Saudo as its new CEO, succeeding Bruno Even who is set to become CEO at Airbus Helicopters. Mr Saudo, who will begin his new role on 2nd April, has been with the Safran group since 2011 and most recently served as CEO of the French group’s Safran Transmission Systems business. Prior to that, he was vice president of support and services at the company.
A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the London School of Economics, Mr Saudo, 41, began his career as a financial specialist with the French Ministry of Finance and then the Ministry of Economy, Industry & Employment. His career at Safran started as deputy to the group’s executive vice president for strategy and development.
Eric Valentin will be taking over as CEO of Safran Transmission Systems.
