William E. Chiles
Chairman, HeliOffshore and former CEO of Bristow Group Inc.
William E. Chiles is chairman of HeliOffshore Ltd. He was formerly chief executive officer of Bristow Group Inc., a leading provider of helicopter services to the worldwide offshore energy industry. He retired from his position as president and CEO of Bristow Group on July 31, 2014. During his 10-year tenure at Bristow Group, Mr. Chiles transformed the company into one of the most successful helicopter transport companies, articulating a clear vision that led to Bristow’s impressive safety performance, growth, and financial performance. He was credited with successfully bringing together two companies to form the Group: Bristow Helicopters, based in the UK, and Offshore Logistics, based in the U.S. Through his strategic leadership, he fostered a collaborative customer- and safety-focused culture.
Before joining Bristow Group in 2004, Mr. Chiles spent 32 years in the offshore oil and gas drilling industry founding several companies, notably Chiles Offshore I & II.
Chief Executive Officer, HeliOffshore
Gretchen Haskins is the CEO of HeliOffshore Ltd., a company dedicated to global offshore helicopter safety. She is an aviation industry leader in safety performance improvement and an internationally-recognised expert in human factors.
She has served on the board of the UK Civil Aviation Authority as Group Director of Safety, guiding aviation safety in the UK (including airlines, aerodromes, air traffic, airworthiness and personnel). Prior to that, Gretchen was Group Director of Safety at NATS where she championed activities to support frontline operational safety. Gretchen previously worked in nuclear certification and safety of intercontinental ballistic missiles, joint airworthiness trials for military aircraft, defence system design—and as an expert advisor to NATO on human performance and safety critical systems. She has a strong aviation background, and has flown jet and piston aircraft in the U.S. Air Force.
Managing Director, Babcock International's UK civil aviation businesses
David recently took on his current role with Babcock after previously serving as CEO Northern Europe for the group’s civil aviation activities, including HEMS, parapublic and oil and gas services. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director of Babcock’s infrastructure businesses, which was responsible for delivery of Build Asset Management services for the UK Ministry of Defence. He holds an honours degree in Quantity Surveying and completed the General Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
Christopher S. Bradshaw
President and Chief Executive Officer, Era Group Inc.
Christopher S. Bradshaw has served as Era’s President and Chief Executive Officer since November 2014 and Chief Financial Officer from October 2012 to September 2015. In addition, he serves as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Era, Mr. Bradshaw spent 13 years in the financial services industry, most recently as a managing partner and chief financial officer of U.S. Capital Advisors LLC, an independent financial advisory firm. Prior to co-founding U.S. Capital Advisors in 2009, Mr. Bradshaw was an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank, Morgan Stanley & Co. and PaineWebber Incorporated.
Mr. Bradshaw holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and government from Dartmouth College.
Jonathan E. Baliff
President and Chief Executive Officer, Bristow Group Inc.
Mr. Baliff joined Bristow Group Inc. as senior vice president and chief financial officer in October 2010. Prior to joining Bristow, he was executive vice president, strategy at NRG Energy, where, since May 2008, he led the development and implementation of NRG’s corporate strategy as well as acquisitions and business alliances. Prior to joining NRG, he was managing director in Credit Suisse’s Global Energy Group, where, since 1996, he advised energy companies on merger and acquisition assignments and project and corporate financings. Mr. Baliff started his business career at Standard & Poor’s Corp. and then J.P. Morgan’s Natural Resources Group.
He served active duty in the U.S. Air Force for eight years from 1985 to 1993 in numerous assignments flying the F-4G Phantom, including the first combat missions during the first Gulf War. He retired with the rank of Captain.
Josiah Kyomnom Choms
Managing Director / Training Captain, Caverton Helicopters Ltd
Capt Choms joined Caverton Helicopters Ltd, in August 2010. He was Base Managing Pilot and Training Captain after which he was promoted to Managing Director/Training Captain in August 2014.
Prior to joining Caverton Helicopters Ltd, Capt Choms was an Executive Jet Pilot with Prime Air Services in Abuja, Nigeria from October, 2009 preceded by appointments with Bristow Group in Nigeria from August 1999.
President and Chief Executive Officer, CHC Helicopter
Mr. Fessenden was named president and chief executive officer of CHC Helicopter and a board member of its parent company, CHC Group, in February 2015. He came to CHC from GE, where over 20 years he amassed a track record of strong leadership in building industrial-services businesses, as well as process discipline around resource and capital allocation.
Mr. Fessenden successfully led multiple global-service business units at GE Energy and GE Aviation. Most recently he directed GE’s integration of the Alstom power-generation business, the largest acquisition in GE’s history.
Prior to that, Mr. Fessenden managed GE’s $8 billion Power Generation Services unit, the largest industrial-services business at GE. His background includes 15 years in the aviation sector with GE and Pratt & Whitney.
Lance F. Bospflug
President and Chief Operations Officer, PHI Inc
Since joining PHI in 2000, Lance has reshaped the leadership team while evolving the strategic direction, operational focus and safety culture through innovative programs such as Destination Zero, which focuses on human factors. Lance has worked to grow PHI’s base of operations and to extend its position as world leader in rotor wing aviation.
Previously, he spent 25 years in various service-related industries, serving as President and CEO of T. L. James & Company, Inc., (a diversified marine dredging, construction, and timber company operating extensively on the Gulf Coast); and has also held various management positions with the Morrison Knudsen Corporation.
Lance has a Business degree from the University of Jamestown and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, and is a CFA. He is also a fixed wing pilot.
General Tan Sri Muhammad Ismail bin Jamaluddin
Chief Executive Officer, Weststar Aviation Services Sdn Bhd
Gen. Ismail was appointed as the CEO of Weststar Aviation Services Sdn Bhd (WASSB) in July 2011. Before becoming the CEO, he was appointed by the GMD as a consultant in WASSB.
General Ismail was first commissioned into the Malaysian Armed Forces (Royal Malay Regiment) in 1970 as a 2nd Lieutenant and retired in September 2010 as a 4 Star General (Chief of Army) having served 40 years.
